GIA Laboratory DMCC 

GIA Laboratory DMCC is located in the important global diamond center of Dubai and will provide diamond services with limited capacity.

9:00am – 6:00pm

Appointment required for all pick-up and drop-off of loose, polished stones.

Submission Requirements

GIA® offers primary and secondary services, such as update or re-exam services, for polished natural or laboratory-grown, D-to-Z diamonds, up to 3.99 carats. At this time, in addition to submissions from clients operating in the United Arab Emirates free trade zones, the GIA Laboratory DMCC can accept submissions from clients in other countries; the ability to accept submissions from India is pending.
 
For any stone that does not meet the criteria above, the client will be responsible for sending the stone directly to another GIA laboratory. You can find the services available by laboratory here. 

 

Important Details

  • Clients must have a reserved and approved appointment, including allocated capacity prior to submitting stones, otherwise the courier will not accept the shipment.
  • Malca-Amit and Transguard are the preferred couriers for GIA Laboratory DMCC.
  • Clients must have an up-to-date GIA client account and signed Client Agreement with Gemological Institute of America, Inc. to transport to GIA Laboratory DMCC. At this time, individuals cannot submit to GIA Laboratory DMCC. Individuals are welcome to send stones directly to another GIA Laboratory.
  • All services will be billed in U.S. dollar.
