GIA’s award-winning research journal, celebrates 80 years of excellence in 2014. Harold and Erica Van Pelt, pioneers of gem photography, played a major role in the evolution of the journal for more than 25 years with stunning photos that complemented the groundbreaking gemological research. This exhibit showcases a variety of photographs by the Van Pelts for G&G, along with the jewelry, gems, minerals and sculptures featured in each image.
