Why am I getting a message saying “No match available?”

Requirements for inscription matching:

• Available for loose diamonds only.
• Ideal for round brilliant cut diamonds.
• Available for fancy shape diamonds. Matching results may vary depending on placement of inscription.
• Available for all diamonds with GIA Diamond Dossier^® reports and most diamonds with Diamond Grading Reports issued after on or after February 22, 2022.

You can verify your report type and date on Report Check at GIA.edu.

If your diamond meets all these requirements but is not generating a match, it could be due to the following:

• Quality of image. Please refer to the step-by-step instructions for optimal image taking.
• ​The inscription may be bleached out. Bleached inscriptions do not qualify for inscription matching at this time.
