How do you identify the mine or geographic origin?
GIA will only assess polished diamonds for the GIA Diamond Origin program whose rough has been received in documented, sealed, untampered parcels from the mining companies. This process, coupled with GIA’s scientific rough analysis ensures the rough origin is documented properly and assigned its unique identification number.
