This issue profiles Chi Huynh, the creative force behind Galatea: Jewelry by Artist. The ring on the cover combines two of Huynh’s innovations, the Galatea Pearl and the Diamond in a Pearl. Galatea Pearls are gem bead cultured pearls carved to reveal the beauty of the gem inside. Please note that Field Reports, Lab Notes, Gem News International, Micro-World, Colored Stones Unearthed, Diamond Reflections, and Charts are not peer-reviewed sections but do undergo technical and editorial review.
