GIA SHOW SERVICE LABORATORY

GIA brings its world-renowned lab services for colored stone identification services to GemGenève. Take advantage of this convenient opportunity to submit your gemstones at the GIA booth K12 for analysis.

May 9-11: 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Submit and pick up)
May 12: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  (Pick up only)

The following reports services will be available:

  • GIA Colored Stone Identification Reports for ruby, sapphire, emerald, alexandrite, tourmaline, spinel, jade and all other colored stones

  • GIA Colored Stone Identification and Origin Reports for ruby, sapphire and emerald

Temporary reports will be printed on site, with permanent reports sent after the show.

Report services for diamond and pearls will not be available.

Come prepared to submit your gemstones and arrive early. Stones are tested on a first-come, first-served basis.

Visit GIA’s booth to see demonstrations of two exciting, compact GIA innovations: GIA iD100™ Gem Testing Device for distinguishing mounted and unmounted natural diamonds from synthetic (HPHT and CVD) diamonds and diamond simulants, and the new GIA UV Lamp and Viewing Cabinet that provides controlled ultraviolet illumination and fluorescence observation. GIA representatives will be present to answer all questions.
