Richard T. Liddicoat Gemological Library


Located at GIA’s World Headquarters and The Robert Mouawad Campus in Carlsbad, California, the Richard T. Liddicoat Gemological Library and Information Center houses a growing collection of more than 57,000 volumes. You’ll also find 700 international journals and magazine titles, nearly 150,000 images, and more than 1,800 videos and DVDs.

The library is also home to the Cartier Rare Book Repository and Archives – nearly 8,000 square feet of space dedicated to rare and one-of-a-kind books. Several specialized databases are also available for your research.
