Two Recent Awards for G&G 
The American Gem Society has presented Russell Shor with its annual Richard T. Liddicoat Journalism Award for Industry/Trade Reporting for his Fall 2007 G&G article “From Single Source to Global Free Market: The Transformation of the Cultured Pearl Industry.”  And a Gold Ink Award in the Scientific and Technical category will be presented Oct. 27 to G&G’s printer, Allen Press of Lawrence, Kansas. Cosponsored by Print Media and Printing Impressions, the Gold Ink Awards are considered the nation's most prestigious print quality competition.
